A Little Know How Goes A Long Way
I remember my first encounter with drywall installation.
I was 17 years old and had just started to work on a basement
renovation with my future father in law. We had been framing and
cutting plywood in the basement, when he said he had to leave to
pick up some materials. He said to drywall the storage area
under the stairs. I was more than confident in my abilities when
he left. I finished with the plywood and started my drywall
application. It was about 1/2 an hour later when he returned to
a basement filled with a thick white dust in the air. Thats when
I was informed (in no uncertain terms) your not supposed to cut
drywall with a circular saw.
