Boost your mood - eat sunflower seeds

Dry elbows - rub some beeswax on them

Clean your eyeglasses - used dryer sheets

Perk yourself up - 1 teaspoon honey

If you want younger skin - drink green tea. Antioxidants revive and energize your skin.

Cure for a toothache - chew on a few dried cloves. They have a numbing affect on your teeth.

Bloating - Drink more water

Slippery shoes - scrub the soles with an emery board

Feel a cold coming on - Eat 1 clove of garlic a day

Itchy mosquito bites - rub a wet bar of soap on the bite.

Hem up you skirt in a hurry - double sided tape





Landscaping and Outdoors







Clean your bbq grill in a pinch - roll some aluminum foil in a ball and rub on your grill

Stop snow from sticking to the shovel - spray with pledge or a little bit of olive oil

Spilled paint on cement - soak up excess. If it's water based, use a brush and water. Oil based - use mineral spirits and a plastic brush. Spray with water.

Bugs begone - Plant chrysanthemums. The leaves have the same properties found in pesticides

Keep your fingernails clean while gardening - run your nails along a bar of soap. The soap will prevent dirt from getting under your nails. Rinse hands when you're done playing in the garden





Kitchen





Freeze garden corn on the cob - shuck and boil for 5 minutes. Cool, pat dry and put in freezer bags. To cook - place cobs in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Remove black marks from the bottom of your pots - spray oven cleaner on them and leave for about 1 hour. Wipe with a damp cloth to remove stains.

Clean fruit and veggies - mix 4 tablespoons apple cider vinegar in 1 gallon of water. Soak fruit and veggies in it. Rinse with water.
