Teach Yourself GuitarHave you ever wanted to teach yourself guitar, but never had the time or money for lessons? Well, it was a year ago that I thought to myself I should try. It was time to find out if I really could. I did teach myself and it was absolutely free! I now have 35 songs and or riffs that I can practice and play and the list is growing daily. Step OneI searched around for the best deal on a cheap guitar. I didn't know a thing about a one, so I was pretty much in the dark as to what to buy. So, after my research online, I ended up at Best Buy. I picked up a Robson acoustic guitar for about $100. I liked the look of it, it was a dreadnaught style and had a sunburst finish. It sounded the way I thought a guitar should. So, for a hundred bucks if it didn't work out, I could take the loss.
Keep Your FocusI was determined to learn to play! Familiarizing myself with basic strumming and picking along with the general sound the guitar makes was fun foir a while, but frustration comes quickly when you don't know what your doing. I needed to find some sort of lesson in order to to keep my attention. May be the internet could help?
